After spending countless hours trying to figure out on what’s the best Twitter marketing software, I just decided to try them all and report my findings.
HummingBird Pro
Installation is pretty straight and went smoothly so nothing wrong with that.
However, after launching the program I was surprised by confusing user interface layout which took me a while to figure out.
The worst part? It’s built around Internet Explorer engine that is extremely slow (at least that’s what I’ve experienced), so after some initial testing I have just gave up on the software.
During my testing process, it just did not feel like quality software to me. It took a lot of time to do simple things and follow some people, not to mention direct messages sending.
Not recommended.
Tweet Adder
After bad experience with HummingBird Pro, Tweet Adder was the next one to try.
Interface is pretty straight forward and much better than HummingBird Pro that gave me headaches.
After playing with it for a few weeks, I can tell that there are some good and bad things:
Process is pretty straight forward and easy to use
Unique tweet generator was really disappointing
Initial results better than HummingBird Pro
Received hundreds of followers
Advanced search is good, allows many options, although I end up using 2 only: regular and exact “” (that are supported by all of reviewed softs)
Pretty fast for specific functions
Overall, not bad at all.
What I did not like however was their pricing module:
$188 for unlimited profiles account is way too much for what you get.
Furthermore, I was expecting much more from the software (as advertised) and did not feel like I had a chance to earn big with it (not designed that way)
Recommended over HummingBird Pro.
Raven Poster
Since I haven’t heard of Raven Poster before, the only reason I bought this one was a recommendation from my friend.
After installing the software, I decided to give it a spin and to my surprise, it was actually pretty good.
The interface was user friendly and easy to navigate, so bad UI is only a HummingBird issue.
Just like Tweet Adder, I have used Raven Poster for a couple of weeks and here are my results:
I was able to actually do what was advertised which is: send thousands of messages with hundreds of accounts, that’s what I call a promotion.
Received lots of of followers in same day, slightly more than with Tweet Adder
Pretty clever human emulation module. Trust me, you couldn’t tell if account is controlled by a machine or actual human being.
Automatic accounts authentication
No auto update (Feb, 25, 2011 note: latest version now includes auto update)
Really fast
Recommended.
Conclusion
Overall, I’ve found Raven Poster to be my #1 choice. It just feels like software designed for an actual promotion in mind and fits my style really well (which is aggressive promotion).
It has all the required features an
Furthermore, unlike Tweet Adder it costs me much less, includes lifetime and does not limit me in any way.
Just got my copy of raven poster, its so much fun to use it
thanks a lot for review!
Hahahaha, I am so excited, just saw my first sale with raven :DDD
I agree that HummingBird sucks, tried it myself few weeks ago.
